Creative God, Colorful Us: Interview with the kids
Part of my desire to write Creative God, Colorful Us, was to help us teach the next generation. I feature chapters on the gospel, the image of God, sin and its effect on relationships, loving our neighbor, specifically those who do not look this us, and more. And how we can enjoy our beautiful, colorful, diverse family: the church. So that’s what you’ll find in Creative God, Colorful Us.
Black History Month 2021
This year we are taking a different approach. Instead of studying history, we are going to walk through it.
We are focusing our attention on experiencing Black history.
I have a YouTube Channel!
Hey Faithful Readers and Friends, after a year of wrestling with the idea, I’ve finally pulled the plug and started a tube channel. The YouTube channel will match my blog in that it will still be where life and faith collide. Looking forward to seeing you there! Trillia
A new devotional study by Kristie Anyabwile and friends!
’m excited to share a new book with you! My dear friend, Kristie Anyabwile, had a desire to gather a diverse group of women together to create a devotional study on Psalm 119. And My Testimonies, His Heritage was born. I’m grateful to be one of the contributors!
I’d love for you to check out this video of Kristie sharing her heart behind the book.
My future self does thank me and other updates
I’d love for you to take a moment to watch this video that includes some important updates and a prayer request! See you in September!
Blog Recap, Learning to Rejoice, and More

Book Club Intro to Spiritual Healthcheck
Today we begin our six-week video book study through Spiritual Healthcheck by Carl Laferton.
Rejoice in Each Other’s Gifts and Strengths
One of the new things I love on Facebook is the “on this day” memory feature. Because of this feature, today I was reintroduced to this old video and realized I’d never actually shared it here. We can never be reminded enough to rejoice with others and guard against comparison. And as you’ll see, I lightly encourage you and me to do this as I reflect on ways that I’m not gifted!
