An Invitation to Join me at Focus on the Family

In a few weeks, I will be visiting the campuses of Focus on the Family to meet with staff and ministry partners. We’ll talk about the themes of United:  about the benefits of diversity in the church and life, and how our adoption into a new family changes how we relate to one another.

Focus on the Family is a Christian organization that has provided resources to help families thrive for over 35 years. Their aim is to assist couples in building healthy marriages and parents in raising their children according to morals and values grounded in biblical principles.

I was invited to share as part of Glenn Stanton’s Family Insight Lecture Series. Stanton is the Director of Family Formation Studies at Focus and speaks around the country on the issues of gender, sexuality, marriage, and parenting. My talk will be on women and diversity. In addition to the lecture, I will meet with staff for a Q & A about diversity and ministry at Focus.

While both events are provided primarily for the staff and community partners within the Focus family, Focus recently opened my sessions to the public as well. If you are in the Colorado Springs area, I’d like to invite you to join me and Glenn Stanton on Thursday, February 6, from 11:30- 1:00 p.m. on the campus of Focus on the Family.

I am honored to visit with Focus and thankful to see a ministry rich in tradition and Christian values think through these important topics. I hope to see you there!
