Enjoy the Christmas Season With an Advent Devotional
After a few years of praying and writing, my next book, Enjoy: Finding the Freedom to Delight Daily in God’s Good Gifts, is finally (almost!) here! You may have heard of the book writing process and subsequent release compared to giving birth. If that’s the case, I suppose I am having contractions! Enjoy will be available through your favorite retailer and online on December 20, but you don’t have to wait to order a copy. If you pre-order the book, you will receive an Advent devotional called, Enjoy Advent, which I’ve written to encourage your faith throughout the holidays.
I wrote the Enjoy Advent devotional with two types of people in mind: those who will rejoice during the holiday season and those who will go through these Advent weeks sorrowful, yet always rejoicing. My prayer and hope for you is that whether it’s an easy Advent season or one filled with grief, Jesus would be magnified and you will sense His nearness during this season. Enjoy Advent is only available through this pre-order offer, and it includes 5 devotional readings that can be used once a day or once a week and on Christmas Eve.
So…here’s how it works:
Step #1: Pre-order Enjoy. Here’s a short list of places to pre-order Enjoy: Amazon; Barnes & Noble; Waterbrook Multnomah; Christian Book Distributors (CBD); LifeWay; Parable; Walmart
Step #2: Go to the Enjoy Advent page on my siteand complete the form.
Step #3: After you click “submit”, you will receive a message to check your email to download the devotional.
Before you leave, here’s more about Enjoy
Enjoy is based on the premise that God is an awesome and incredibly generous creator. He has given us all we need for life and godliness as well as good things for us to enjoy for our benefit and his glory. From human relationships and spiritual joy to the texture and taste of chocolate cake and the wonder of nature, we have so many reasons to delight in our gift-giving God. Enjoy explores in-depth what it means to live and walk in this fallen world while, at the same time, appreciating the abundant gifts God invites us to be thankful for, to celebrate, and to enjoy.
May this Advent season for you be filled with true joy and peace that only comes from the Father.
